How to Download and Install
- When clicking [Save] on the file download screen (file is saved to disk at specified location)
- To download files, click the file link, select [Save], and specify the directory where you want to save the file. The download will start automatically.
- Once the download is complete, locate the driver file (usually ending with “.exe” for Windows or “.dmg” for macOS) and double-click it to start the installation process. Downloaded files are saved in the specified folder in a self-extracting format
- Double-click the files to decompress them. A new folder will be created in the same folder. The new folder will have the same name as the compressed file.
- Double-click the decompressed SETUP.exe file to start installation.
- During the installation process, you may be prompted to connect your Canon printer to your computer using a USB cable. Follow the instructions to establish the connection.
- Once the driver installation is complete, you may be asked to restart your computer to finalize the setup. If prompted, go ahead and restart your computer.
- After the computer restarts, check if your Canon printer is listed as an available printer in the devices and printers section of your computer’s settings. You can perform a test print to ensure the driver installation was successful.
